Muslim Somali Airport Cabbies
I just finished watching a story on Hannity and Colmes on FOX NEWS CHANNEL, and the topic was on how immigrant Muslim Somali's at the Minneapolis St. Paul Airport are routinely discriminating against and refusing service to passengers carrying alcohol, or blind people with seeing eye dogs. They have been know to refuse service to gays and transgendered people as well, but this wasn't covered.
It was embarrassing that Minnesota was in the news in a negative way like this again, and it's time people wake up and realize what's going on here.
The reason we have so many Muslims in Minnesota isn't because of our warm desert climate which reminds them of home, but because of our liberal welfare system which attracts recipients from around the globe. Not only that, but local groups like the Minneapolis Foundation and Lutheran Social Services have been working hard to import as many Muslims here as possible at taxpayers expense. Minnesota Taxpayers suffer for this assualt on common sense by liberal multiculteralists.
The new Muslim immigrants have little desire to assimate to our way of life unlike previous immigrants, and seem to demand that we adapt to them.
Muslim cab drivers who insist on discriminating because of their Islamic religion are in the wrong line of work and should have their cab licenses revoked if needed. It sounds like they have been given a warning by the airport commission before a vote on the subject comes up, so they can think about alternative employment which is refreshing news out of liberal Hennepin County.
Mulsims are also demanding a prayer room at MSP. The commission has offered a spot for prayer for all faiths, as well as an offer to expand if necessary, but this isn't good enough for the Muslims. They are demanding a MUSLIM ONLY area at MSP.

One thing they didn't cover on the fox news story is that the policy at the airport is that if they refuse a fare they go to the end of the line, however with the cabbies being virtually 100% muslim it doesn't really matter.
Maybe these Muslim cab drivers should find a different line of work. How about working in a restaurant which doesn't serve alcohol, pork, homosexuals, or blind people.

I find it troublesome that Rastafarians are denied their sacramental practices; whereas Native American Church members are not - each involving generally controlled substances. As a Christian do you care? Rasta is Christian, with wrinkles - but so's Salt Lake City.
I say let them each do as their religion leads, but jug them if they are caught driving before returning to normal consciousness.
But the Rasta truck driver, he pees in the container and residual amounts of metabolic products turn a test chemical purple and his job's pulled without any indication he's ever driven a truck stoned - wrong. The running back with his whizzinator, failing a test involving recreational and not performance enhancement substances - how's it matter to carrying a football and gaining good yardage; he should keep his job. But do you let a blind man with a 102 mph fastball pitch?
Should a Christian truck driver for UPS refusing to drive a route because it would require delivery of packaged condoms and his religion is against birth control be at risk of sanctions? If not, how's that differ from the cabbies?

I grew up Lutheran, so you can imagine how embarrassed I am when a liberal organization called Lutheran Social Services is responsible for bring so many non-assimilating Muslim Somali's to Minnesota for our welfare system.

If a person refusing to do the job he was hired to do, he or she should find another profession or be fired. Religion is no excuse, even for pharmacists.
I really don't think that alcohol or seeing-eye dogs really bother the Muslim drivers, they are just taking advantage up our liberalism and trying to stir up trouble to see what they can get away with, just like Keith Hakim Ellison and the Flying Imam's have done.
I'll agree on this one - the cab drivers need to serve all airport passengers.
Eric you sure like to go into hypotheticals,the story wasn't about Christian U.P.S. drivers or Rasta truck drivers it was about cabbies discriminating against travelers.If the Rasta truck driver is required to take drug tests then maybe he shouldn't take drugs.If the Christian U.P.S.driver won't do his job he should be canned.I have never heard of the blind man with the 102 m.p.h. fastball, but if his accuracy is any good I say sign him up. As far as wizzer Smith goes he was already on probation for violating the league substance policy he knew about this policy before he ever signed an N.F.L. contract.He also knew about the policy when he was on probation for his first failed test.Maybe taking drugs doesn't affect his ability to run with a football , but he still knew the risks.

All muslims at the airport feel this way? Wow! That must have taken allot of research from you to come up with such a bold statement. I hope you will keep track of any new muslim employees or existing employees that may convert to Islam at the airport so that you can make these bold statements without being a total bigot!
