CAIR: Islamists Fooling the Establishment

This piece is by Daniel Pipes and needs to be more widely read, especially with Minnesota electing a Muslim (Keith Hakim Ellison) to congress who has a working relationship with CAIR and has been involved with Louis Farrakan's Nation of Islam:

unfortunately minnesota was once again the butt of a huge practical joke instituted by liberal voters. first we had the two headed calf that was jesse ventura, a wrassler.the man completely made a mockery out of minnesota politics what with his 9 to 5 governing, reffing wrassling matches,& sportscasting the short lived xfl.meanwhile he governed minnesota into a record deficit & left us for the entire countries joke material. now the liberals are at it again electing a radical muslim to the congressional seat that most people thought would only be reserved for card carrying communists in the mold of martin sabo.hopefully in 2 years these ridiculous liberals will wise up and vote him out otherwise i fear their next joke is going to be a coke snorting comedian for the U.S. senate

From Downwithtyrranyblog today.

Well, today Congressman Ellison might have finally shut the sad little bigot from southern Virginia up (although I'm not counting on it). It turns out that Keith is taking his oath on a copy of the Koran once owned by a determined advocate of freedom of religion, a former resident of Goode's district no less, Thomas Jefferson.

According to today's Washington Post the chief of the rare book collection at the Library of Congress, Mark Dimunation, who grew up in Minneapolis, found Keith the book. "He wanted to use a Koran that was special." And it certainly is.

Jefferson's copy is an English translation by George Sale published in the 1750s; it survived the 1851 fire that destroyed most of Jefferson's collection and has his customary initialing on the pages. This isn't the first historic book used for swearing-in ceremonies-- the Library has allowed VIPs to use rare Bibles for inaugurations and other special occasions.

Ellison will take the official oath of office along with the other incoming members in the House chamber, then use the Koran in his individual, ceremonial oath with new Speaker Nancy Pelosi. "Keith is paying respect not only to the founding fathers' belief in religious freedom but the Constitution itself," said Ellison spokesman Rick Jauert.

"The Bush-Saudi links are many, and include direct links between members of the Bush family and members of the Bin Laden and Mahfouz families -- two billionaire clans whose power in Saudi Arabia approaches that of the ruling Saud clan.

"James Bath was in the National Guard with George W. Bush and left at about the same time under suspicious circumstances. He made a career investing large amounts of money for the Mahfouz clan. (Mahfouz money played a big role in the BCCI financial crimes, which along with the U.S. Savings and Loan frauds pioneered the kinds of management looting which we have been forced to accept as normal.) It seems likely that Bath funneled Mahfouz money into George W. Bush's early business ventures, though (as often) the investigation was squelched and no smoking gun has been found.

"Up until shortly after 9/11 Bin Ladens were part owners of the Carlyle Corporation, for which George H. W. Bush (the father) did some very lucrative consulting which was presumably mostly "access capitalism" or influence peddling. As it happened, at the moment of the 9/11 attacks, the elder Bush was at a Carlyle meeting with Bin Laden's brother Shafig. Shortly after this, the Bin Ladens were asked to leave the group.

"Neil Bush, as usual, was the one who brought the bad publicity. Not long after the 9/11 attack he made a speech in Jeddah explaining that the Saudis had a P.R. problem and needed to do something (presumably involving a job for Neil) to get their point of view out.

"The Saudi ambassador to the U.S., Prince Bandar, is so close to the Bush family that he is sometimes called "Bandar Bush", and in August of 2002 he was invited to visit the Bush ranch in Crawford, Texas. Bandar was probably responsible for the high-level arrangements for the evacuation of all Bin Ladens from the U.S. on 9/13 -- a complex task, since the Bin Ladens were scattered all over the country. Bandar and his wife were also responsible for distributing millions of dollars of aid to Saudis resident in the U.S., some of which ended up in the hands of two of the hijackers.

"James Baker (Bush loyalist) defends Saudi princes against 9/11 survivor lawsuit [...]"

The havoc is caused by the war profiteers and the remnants of the Reagan-CIA [and Carter-Zygi B] "holy warriors" infiltrated into Afghanistan during the Soviet occupation (which preceeded ours).

Ellison and Nation of Islam are not war profiteers. From the days of Prescott Bush and the Theissen steel interests in pre-Hitler Germany and during WW II, the Bush family has been a consistent war profiteering family.

You are like a blind hound barking foolishly up the wrong tree. And not seeing the forest because of an obsession with a single tree. May the scales fall from your eyes.

I don't know about that photograph. It makes you look like some kind of a crook - one who's funeral had more convicted felons in attendance than a mafia burial. I suggest you use this one instead, as looking more like your world view suggests appropriate:

anonymous,

I believe in freedom of religion myself, but modern Islamists are more than a religion, they are a political force trying to dominate and control the world. Too bad multiculteral liberals are willing accomplises.

Having a Muslim give his oath on the Koran in front of Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi sounds like a horrible dream. To bad it's real.

Eric,

Bush had his picture taken with members of CAIR as well which was a terrible mistake. He's far to liberal on controlling illegal immigration as well.

Dare2. Did you read or understand the posting about Jefferson's Koran and Freedom of Religion?

The Bible Beating Bush administration has created Onward Christian Soldiers in OUR time by attacking a sovereign Muslim nation based on a personal vendetta and
failed Neocon Domino Democracy Mid East theory. The Bush administration makes Islam look good compared to the kind of Christian George Bush models. Ted Haggard was George Bush's third wave weekly Christian coach! It's in the BIBLE!!!

The Bush administration is currently a failed Christian political force trying to dominate and control the world.

So, you aren't that big a Bush supporter, easy for you conservative pussies to say now that even YOU know Bush2 is a fuckup.

Who do YOU like for 2008? Pat Robertson and Pat Buchanan?

Dare2 say it?

Anonymous,

Again, Bush wasn't my first choice for President, I think he's too liberal. I do support the war on Islamic terror though and think we are much safer having him as our leader compared the John Kerry who even our troops can't stand, or the big liberal whiner Algore.

It's too bad you aren't able to see the threats the Islamists pose to the civilized world.

Eric as far as Bush hosting the saudis in Crawford goes ,President Clinton hosted Yassir Arrafat more than any other foreign dignitary in his eight years in office. Does that make him a terrorist?

Thomas Jefferson was a wise man, so I think it would stand to reason that he would read many varieties of literature. I do not think the fact that he owned a Koran made him a muslim any more than owning a Bible makes one a Christian, or owning a copy of the Constitution makes one an American. As a leader of his country it would naturally benefit him to know about all of the people of the world.Sun Tzu wrote "It is good to learn even from your enemy."

dare2sayit please ask annonymous to watch his language my 9 year old daughter was reading this over my shoulder and I didn't have time to censor his f-bomb. If he is really that angry I suggest he take up paint ball or something besides I find it really isn't that hard to refrain from profanity when you actually have to type it in.

anonymous,

Did you pick up your language from our Vice President similiar to how a certain sex act now widely referred to as the "Lewinski" is now widely popular among American teens because of a former President?

Remember, even the lone ranger didn't ride alone...

Good question, Dare2 do we have to go to Lowe's to get our pictures on here like Tricky Dick?

That Eric guy kind of looks like the lone ranger, needs a haircut and a mask...
